- Read the Official Rules carefully. It may be painful because lawyers wrote them. But they contain some really important stuff for making your commercial.
- Download and read the Creative Challenge,
a sort of roadmap for making your ad.
- Try describing your idea in one sentence—that will keep your commercial simple and single-minded.
- Turn on the TV if the ideas aren't flowing and actually watch the commercials. What did you like? What made you feel something? What was awful—or, worse, boring. At the very least, you’ll be convinced that you can do this.
